*lach* Na ja, das sind teilweise Bücher von Autoren, die ich gerne lese, die ich dann auch schon eine Weile vorbestellt habe. ;)
Also „Along Came a Duke“ von Elizabeth Boyle würde mich vielleicht reizen, aber ich hab noch einen deutschen Historical von ihr auf em SuB (okay, nicht wirklich SuB, da der Roman irgendwo hinter anderen Büchern „versteckt“ ist, du müsstest ihn auch gelesen haben laut GR Irgenwas wie „Betört von seinen heißen Blicken“, oder so…und das Cover fand ich so altbacken) und bin mir nicht so sicher, ob sie auch modernere Historicals schreibt. ^^ Ich pack den Romane einfach mal auf meine Wunschliste, ich muss ihn ja nicht gleich kaufen. :D
Ja, ich hab das besagte Boyle-Buch gelesen und sogar was dazu geschrieben, siehe hier.
»Betört von seinen heißen Blicken« ist nicht gerade einer ihrer stärkeren Titel, aber sie hat auch ein paar wirklich gute Bücher, z.B. das. Und sie ist keine der »alten« Autorinnen à la Lindsey, Coulter und Co.
Hm… der Quinn ist schon auf den Weg zu mir und müsste morgen eintreffen. „Keep Holding On“ würde mich reizen. Hab gerade mal geguckt, wie teuer das eBook ist und bin fast vom Stuhl gefallen. Die wollen doch tatsächlich mehr als 10,00 € für die eBook-Variante. Wucher!!!
Der Boyle würde mich allerdings auch interessieren! ;)
10 Euro für die E-Book-Ausgabe find ich auch nen stolzen Preis … Würde ich nicht ausgeben, zumal ich mit der Autorin keine besonders guten Erfahrungen gemacht habe.
Hab ich auch nicht, und selbst wenn ich die Autorin kennen und ihre Sachen mögen würde, wäre mir das eindeutig zu viel. Aber viel besser kommt ja bei der gedruckten Variante auch nicht bei weg – selbst beim Vergleich TBD/Ama.

Die Maggie Stiefvater-Neuauflagen sehen toll aus, finde ich – schade fast, daß ich die Reihe inhaltlich total uninteressant finde :-/
Ich find die Neuauflagen der Stiefvater-Bücher auch sehr gelungen. Sie führen mich aber trotzdem nicht in Versuchung, weil ich Band 1 schon gelesen habe und gar nicht mochte.

Hm. Der Quinn kam mir überhaupt nicht wie ein Quinn vor. Jedenfalls hatte ich beim Lesen nicht das Gefühl zu einen zu lesen. An sich war die Idee ja gar nicht mal schlecht, nur fehlte irgendwie fehlte einerseits etwas das Dramatische und die für sie typische Leichtigkeit. Auch die Charaktere ließen zu wünschen übrig. Sehr schade eigentlich. Bisher eines ihrer schwächsten Bücher, das ich in die Hände bekommen habe. :'(
