[Druckfrisch] 1.

Julie James: A Lot Like Love

Jordan Rhodes is invited to all of Chicago’s best parties, but there’s only one the FBI wants to crash. To get her brother out of jail, she agrees to take Agent McCall as her date. But when the mission gets botched, requiring their „relationship“ to continue, it starts to feel less like an investigation-and a lot like something else.

Lucy Dillon: Lost Dogs and Lonely Hearts
Thirty-nine year old Rachel is having a really bad year. After losing her job and breaking up with her boyfriend, Rachel has inherited her late aunt’s house, her beloved border collie, and a crowded rescue kennel, despite the fact that she knows almost nothing about dogs. Still, considering her limited options, she gamely takes up the challenge of running the kennel. And as Rachel starts finding new homes for the abandoned strays, it turns out that it might not just be the dogs that need rescuing.

Lorelei James: Blacktop Cowboys 02 – Saddled and Spurred
Bran Turner’s new hired hand for his Wyoming ranch is feisty former rodeo queen, Harper Masterson. All she wants is to earn enough to leave this small town. But as Bran ropes her in, he could change her mind.

Margaret Rowe: Any Wicked Thing

Ten years ago Sebastian Goddard, heir to the duke of Roxbury, had a night of reckless passion and was betrayed by his oldest friend Fredericka Wells. Devastated, he embarked on a new life of debauchery that earned him the nickname Lord of Sin. Now Sebastian has returned to find his estate in ruins, and Freddie more seductive than ever. He’s determined to pay her back in spades. But Freddie makes him an offer…she’ll be his mistress for a month if he’ll consent to sell her Goddard Castle. Sebastian plans to scandalize Freddie-to tease her every desire and leave her wanting. But his fiery-willed lover soon teaches him the past may not be what it seemed.

Jo Beverley: Malloren 11 – An Unlikely Countess
Prudence Youlgrave is out to marry above her station and secure a happy life. Catesby Burgoyne is out to continue his noble family’s good name. When fate pushes them together, they are married-but this inconvenient marriage of convenience quickly turns into something much more…

Olivia Drake: Heiress in London 03 – Scandal of the Year
The youngest of the Crompton heiresses, Blythe yearns to marry into the aristocracy to bolster her family’s place in society. The widowed Duke of Savoy seems to be the perfect choice, yet it’s another man who sets her heart to pounding: the new footman, James. He’s devilishly handsome and far more fascinating than any of her noble suitors. And he alone has the power to stir her romantic dreams.
Little does she know, however, James Ryding is the true heir to the Crompton fortune. He’s posing as a servant in order to find evidence to prove her parents are imposters. By charming Blythe, he hopes to use her to regain his rightful inheritance. But as heat flares between them, he realizes that fulfilling his quest will mean ruining the beautiful, spirited woman who has captured his heart.

Susan Johnson: Sweet as the Devil

James, Baron Blackwood, and Scottish guard to Prince Ernst of dalmia, is charged with protecting the prince’s newly discovered daughter. Having already met the irresistible Miss Sofia Eastleigh at the home of one of his lovers, Jamie knows the distraction she poses-and is determined to resist the incredible delights she has to offer.

Monica Burns: Pleasure Me
Youth and beauty are a courtesan’s greatest assets. Concerned, at forty-one, that she is no longer desirable, Lady Ruth Attwood is uncertain whether to be offended or flattered when a younger man makes her an unusual offer. In need of funds, she agrees. But then she does the unthinkable-she falls in love…

Jade Lee: Wicked 02 – Wicked Seduction
Pirate Kit Frazier returns to England to find that being on land is even more dangerous than at sea-especially when he’s beguiled by a beauty who will do anything to escape the dire circumstances of her life.

Julianne MacLean: Highlanders Trilogy 01 – Captured by the Highlander

Lady Amelia Sutherland would rather die than surrender to a man like Duncan MacLean. He is the fiercest warrior of his clan—her people’s sworn enemy—and tonight he is standing over her bed. Eyes blazing, muscles taut, and battle axe gleaming, MacLean has come to kill Amelia’s fiancé. But once he sees the lovely, innocent Amelia, he decides to take her instead…
Stealing the young bride-to-be is the perfect revenge against the man who murdered Duncan’s one true love. But Lady Amelia turns out to be more than a pawn of vengeance and war. This brave, beautiful woman touches something deep in Duncan’s soul that is even more powerful than a warrior’s fury. But when Amelia begins to fall in love with her captor—and surrenders in his arms—the real battle begins…

Veronica Wolff: Clan MacAlpin 02 – Devil’s Own
After surviving slavery, Aiden MacAlpin has nothing but thoughts of vengeance. When his tutor Elspeth learns a secret to his past, it thrusts them both into a game of passion and deception that neither may survive.

Hatte mich schon gefragt, ob du dir »Saddled and Spurred« holst.

Blogs abonniert.

Klar hol ich mir „Saddled and Spurred“!

*gg*

    Was wars denn, der Burns?

  • Sarah: Ging mir – wie gesagt – auch so. Da soll noch mal jemand sagen, begeisterte Rezensionen würden nix bringen! :)

  • Hm… naja, der Burns nicht unbedingt. Aber ich liebäugel mit dem Highlander… *seufz* Ich weiß nicht; hab mir jetzt erst einmal einige davon (einschließlich Lost Dogs and lonely Hearts) auf meine Wunschliste gesetzt. Mal sehen, was mich demnächst spontan verführt. ^^

  • Oh, okay … :D

Ich hab heut heldenhaft der Burns-Bestellung widerstanden! Bin ich brav, oder was?! *lol*
