Druckfrisch 27.1.2010

Sarwat Chadda: Billi SanGreal 1 – Teufelskuss (OT: The Devil’s Kiss)

Adele Ashworth: My Darling Caroline

One by one, Lady Caroline Grayson watched her four sisters celebrate their betrothals, truly sure that marriage was not in her future—and perfectly pleased with that fact. Or so she thought.
Brent Ravenscroft, Earl of Weymerth, nearly gave his life for the Crown. He returned to England a hero with no intention of taking a bride, certain his brusque demeanor would intimidate any young ladies drawn to his good looks—or so he thought.
Bound by a business transaction, Caroline and Brent begin life as husband and wife. Utterly determined not to fall for each other, they stubbornly ignore the sparks flying between them and keep secrets at every turn. They would resist the lure of love—and the pleasures of the marriage bed—forever . . . or so they thought. (Neuauflage)

Stephanie Laurens: The Black Cobra Quartet 2 – The Elusive Bride
A second battle-hardened, completely unstoppable, all-male hero, an ex-officer of the Crown, confronts the deadly enemy known only as the Black Cobra. He’s focused on his mission, then sees a lady he never dreamed he’d see again—with an assassin on her heels. She secretly followed him, unaware her path is deadly—or that she’ll join him to battle a treacherous foe. Through ever-present peril, through passion, desire, and ecstasy, they race to reach England—and their destiny.

Sabrina Jeffries: The Hellions of Halstead Hall 1 – The Truth About Lord Stoneville
In the two decades since a tragic „accident“ took the lives of his parents, Oliver Sharpe, the Marquess of Stoneville, has survived the scandal surrounding that fateful night by living as an unrepentant rakehell. And with his grandmother vowing to disinherit him if he doesn’t settle down and wed, he plans to fulfill the bargain in true Sharpe style — by bringing home a fake fiancée from a brothel! But his scheme is derailed when he rescues an American beauty in a dire predicament instead. Maria Butterfield came to London to track down her groom-to-be, who’s gone missing, but her engagement won’t stop Oliver from getting what he wants: her, in his bed. His rebellious masquerade may call his grandmother’s bluff , but it’s soon made all too real — by a love that tempts him to be a hellion no more.

Gena Showalter: Tales of an Extraordinary Girl 2 – Twice as Hot
Belle Jamison is finally starting to feel like a normal girl again. Her job as a paranormal investigator is going well, she’s learned to control her supernatural abilities (mostly) and she’s just gotten engaged to Rome Masters, the ultra-sexy operative who once tried to neutralize her! But planning a wedding is never easy, especially when the bride keeps accidentally torching her dress, the groom returns from a dangerous mission with selective memory loss and the man responsible now wants Belle for himself. With Rome’s ex determined to win him back and a new band of supervillains on the horizon, it will take all Belle’s powers—plus a little help from her trusty empath sidekick—to save the day, salvage the wedding and prove that true love really does conquer all.
